I made my own tassels! Simple but time consuming.. All you need is a wide mouthed comb, thread and scissors.
Run the thread through the teeth of the comb depending on how long and thick you want the tassels to be.
I wound the thread around the comb about 25 times. I then bunched them together like this..
Pulled the almost-tassel from the comb and run my scissor through the unbunched end..
Done! Now repeat them about 30 times and sew them on to your stole or scarf and look hip!
Until next time, take care!

Stamped!
Third post this month.. Not so bad eh??
This time I tried my hand at carving stamps out of erasers .I chose to do pretty straight cuts, used a regular paper knife to dig into the erasers and this is what I landed with.
Now to use 'em!! I picked a bunch of envelopes, a stamp pad and water colors and stamped away...
I outlined the chevron pattern with a correction pen.. I love the textures on the patterns and am happy the way they turned out!
Cheers,
Aps

Heel my sole..
Howdie there!
Yet another shoe post..I had this pair of lovely high heels that had seen the end of its time.. Or so I thought.. Until I saw all the make over using glitter and mod podge! You can see how scuffed up my shoes look here..
I got down to work.. I first taped the sides of my shoes.
I then used my trusted bottle of mod podge, my good old brush and glitter in the same maroon as my shoes. I poured the glitter into the mod podge and mixed it up real well.
I then applied a thin coat over my shoes. Let this coat dry before applying a second coat to get the areas that have not been coated with glitter.. I watched Kungfu Panda while the first coat dried.. I just love that movie.. Don't you?
Here they are with the glitter.. I like that the glitter is subtle and am glad these babies are now ready to rock!
Until next time folks, take care!

Drab to Fab in 2 minutes!
Here is a super quick and easy way to glam up your ear rings.. I put together the pair I had and a bit of rhinestone trim.. I am telling you, this trim can fab up anything!
I just dabbed a little glue on the ear ring, placing the trim over it, all over the circle.
That is it!
Now wear them and feel fabulous!
