Bhindi Jeera

So simple, so brilliant.

This is an easy dish to whip up. This can be served with rotis or as an accompaniment for nice.

Ingredients -
400 grams of okra
1 tsp cumin
5 tbsp oil
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
Salt per taste

Method -
Wash the okra and dry it thoroughly. Okra tends to get slimy when wet
Heat the oil in a wok
When it is heated, add the cumin seeds and let it splutter
Add the okra now and stir fry it
When the okra is half cooked, add the other powder and salt. Mix well
Continue cooking till the okra has cooked completely.

Sit back and enjoy your dish!

Peek into my Recipe Book

Hi you all!

While I intended to only record my trysts with crafts on this site, I realized I have enjoyed cooking a lot lately! So I decided to post some of my creations here.

Some of the recipes are handed to me from my mom, some are tweaked to suit my palette and a few that I created on my own.

Please have a look around and decide what you would cook for dinner!

Love,
Aps
